 Getting Started

Installing Valiant XC and Ski Scoring is the same as installing any other Windows program.  The installation will copy files to your hard disk (in the "Program Files" folder or another location of your choice) and a shortcut is placed on your desktop.  Double-Clicking the shortcut will start Excel and automatically load Valiant.

The opening dialog box gives you three options.  You may create a new race file (the red button), open an existing race file (the blue button), or exit Valiant.  If you elect to exit, Excel remains running, and you can restart Valiant Ski Scoring from a command added to the Excel <File> menu.

When you elect to open an EXISTING race file, the race setup information contained within the race file is read by Valiant, the file is opened, and you are ready to continue registration, make scratch changes, run the race, etc.

When you Create a NEW race file, the Event Setup dialog box comes up.
