Finish times do not get entered on the combined start list but on the individual score sheets in the race file. In the example below, the finish times have started coming in from the timer. One of the racers received a DNF.
In Cross Country events using a PTB or Alge timer: When a start time comes in from the timer, Valiant relates the time to a bib number and searches across all the score sheets that you indicate are involved in the race, and pastes the start time into column 8. When a racer approaches the finish, you select his/her bib number in the Cross Country Control Console dialog box (to indicate which bib will be the next to finish) and when the finish signal is received by the timer and sent to the computer Valiant assigns the finish time to that bib number. The score sheets are then searched again and the finish time is pasted into column 9.
