Hand Times worksheet
This worksheet is included with
the program and is normally hidden. A command in the <Scoring> menu makes
it visible. The shaded cells
contain formulas. The Chief of Calculation will enter hand times and
electronic times for up to 10 racers (5 before and 5 after the racer who needs a
time) and the variance is calculated. The hand times for the missing racer
are then entered. The racer's time that must be
entered into the Event Score Sheet is the hand time ± the variance and is shown in the
right-most cell at the bottom of this sheet (the "Enter into Valiant as..." cell).
If you are using 2 hand timers, then you would fill in the bottom half of the
sheet as well. If there were two hand timers, the calculated time is the average of the two hand
timers.
